We are often asked: how can we find out how much the Relictum Blockchain network has earned? What amount of royalties will be shared among all stakers this time? This information is available to all members and can be found in the Explorer.

Received means the total amount of funds earned by the network since launch.
Sent means the total amount of funds distributed among the GTN token holders since the start of payments.

income earned by the network in the reporting period.

Some words about staking

Once you get GTN tokens in your node, you can immediately stake them. Available staking periods are 1, 3, 6, or 12 months. The longer the term you choose and the larger the staked amount, the higher the reward

️Reminder: royalties in USDR, RBTC, RETH, and RLTC are paid on the 1st and 15th day of each month. The payment is made in the tokens which the Relictum Blockchain network has earned over the past period. The variety of reward tokens will increase in the future. You can stake any amount of GTNs limited to the balance in your wallet.

There are several variants of time periods for staking tokens to generate payments - 1, 3, 6, or 12 months. The funds remain in the node until the end of the staking cycle selected by the user.

️ Please note that you need to manually withdraw your tokens after the staking cycle completion.
For example, the next staking cycle ends on June 25, 2022. Until this date, it is impossible to complete the already launched staking cycle. However, the picture will change on June 26, 2022

After the staking cycle is completed, you can unlock the tokens.
For this:
1. Go to the Staking tab
2. Choose the stake you want to unlock.
3. In this stake, click on the button with three dots " ⋮ " and complete staking.

The funds will remain blocked until you do this. Moreover, these tokens will not automatically continue to bring profits (royalties), because you have to manually send them again to a new staking cycle.

What are the types of data storages?

A centralized storage is the first and still the most common type of storages. Such solutions are technically very simple but feature significant drawbacks:

they are poorly protected from hacking;
there is no data backup, and therefore they are almost impossible to recover in case of loss;
the more information, the more expensive its storage;
low degree of privacy.

This is where the idea of creating blockchain-based decentralized storages emerged. In centralized storages, the information is stored on one server, while in decentralized one it is stored on many servers and remains 100% anonymous. The information still remains available to the owner in the event of the physical elimination of any of the elements from the blockchain network.

As a result, users increasingly prefer decentralized storages and enjoy their benefits:

unlimited scalability: an increase in the data volume does not entail a significant increase in the cost of its storage;
anonymity;
privacy: 100%;
instant access from any device with a unique private key.

Why do companies so much need secure storages today? For instance, there is a GDPR law in effect in the EU, under which companies are obliged to protect the personal data of customers, otherwise they face a fine of up to $2 mln or 10% of their annual turnover. What is Relictum Storage?

Relictum Storage is available to every account owner in the Relictum Blockchain network. You can send files to it or download them at any time – just open the “Storage” tab in the node. Unlike cloud storage, your documents have a much higher degree of protection in such a secure and decentralized digital safe.

100% privacy and reliability are ensured by a special method of information storage. When uploaded to the Relictum Blockchain network, each user file is divided into many parts in accordance with the smart contract. Each part is encrypted and copied 7 times. After that, all copies are distributed to various storages.


Advantages of this method:
no part of the file can be decrypted without the rest of the parts, so the owner of one particular storage will not be able to use the contents of its memory;
physical removal of any individual storage from the network will not result in irreversible data loss, since encrypted copies are stored on other devices;
file download speed is higher than in analogue p2p networks;
storage period is for life;
absolute privacy: files can be downloaded using any device — just install the Relictum Node app and activate your account using a private key.

What would you do if the device with the node is lost : laptop, tablet or smartphone? Let's talk about restoring access to the node on a new device, and also recall the security rules.

How to restore access to the node on a new device:

1. Install the Relictum Node app.
2. Enter the previously saved export.pk file (manual can be found here) during activation or enter the private key from another source (paper record, text file, etc.) in a special box.
3. Download and save your new private key.
4. Select and save the new PIN code in a safe place.

After that, your account on any other devices will be automatically closed and remain activated only on the current device.

️ Attention! All private keys in Relictum Blockchain are for one-time use. Once you have used the key to activate the node, you MUST export and save the new key in a safe place.

Let’s recall the rules for storing the private key:

1. Do not share the export.pk file or other record with third parties.
2. If you have lost your private key, but your node is still active on the device, then generate a new one: "Settings" → "Export" → "Generate".
3. Store the key on another device (not the one where the node is activated).

️Caution: if you lose the current private key and the device with the node, no one will be able to restore access to your account, not even the Relictum Blockchain developers.

Frequently asked questions about staking

We would like to remind you that you can stake genesis tokens of the Relictum Blockchain network, GTNs, directly in the Relictum PRO node. You can top up your account in the Relictum DEX tab, as well as through the Relictum Finance platform.

For what period can I stake tokens?

Available staking periods are 1, 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. Staking tokens for 2 months, or, say, 4 months will not work. You will be offered a choice of only available options in the Staking tab. Moreover, you can send any amount within the existing account. The number of orders is also not limited.

When are royalties paid?

Royalties will be credited to your Relictum Wallet account twice a month, on the 1st and. The 15th day. Payouts are made in wrapped RBTC, RETH, RLTC or USDR stablecoins. The payment will be made in the tokens which the Relictum DEX exchange managed to earn the most over the period from the previous payment. More tokens for royalty payments will be available in the future.

The staking period is over, what to do next?

You must manually withdraw the tokens from staking each time after the completion of your chosen cycle of 1, 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. If this is not done, they will remain blocked but no longer generate royalties.

You can send your GTNs to a new staking cycle or unlock them, but both of these operations are done manually, not automatically. Go to the Staking tab and click on the button with three dots “⋮” to unlock at any time you want.

What happens if the tokens are withdrawn from staking before the end of the cycle?

This is impossible. Tokens that are in staking cannot be unlocked before the end of the cycle you have chosen.

What factors determine how much a staker will get in the end?

The royalty amount depends on the following:

income of the Relictum Blockchain network;

staking amount – the larger it is, the higher the percentage of royalties.
