Dear,
Thank you for contacting PayPal in regard to the account limitation issue.
We appreciate your interest in PayPal. Unfortunately, our decision to close
your account is final.
PayPal reserves the right to close any account reported to be involved in
possible fraudulent or high risk behavior. In the event of a dispute,
PayPal will seek to recover the funds from you by debiting your PayPal
balance. If the funds from your PayPal balance are insufficient, PayPal
reserves the right to collect your debt to PayPal by any other legal means.
Due to the potential risk of chargebacks or other actions filed by buyers,
your balance will be held for 180 days from the date the limitation was
placed on your account. After the 180-day period, any remaining funds will
be available for withdrawal.
In order to protect the integrity of our services, we cannot disclose the
specific criteria that causes PayPal to limit access to accounts. For more
information on reasons why we limit access to accounts, please refer to the
User Agreement for PayPal Services.
If your account becomes limited, you will be sent an email with information
on how to appeal the limitation. Unfortunately, we are unable to be more
specific.
To ensure that you have money in your account to cover any new payment
reversals, the funds in your account will be held for a period of up to 180
days. We'll contact you by email around 2014/09/19 with information on how
to withdraw any money in your PayPal account. Once you receive the email,
you may log in to your PayPal account and click 'Withdraw' to receive your
funds.
Thank you for choosing PayPal for your payment needs. Please feel free to
contact us if you require any assistance in future.
Sincerely,
PayPal Account Review Department
